Okie dokie then. I'm new to this. Hehe...Anyways, For school I had to do a poem based on a picture of photo and I chose to do one this:

www.deviantart.com/deviation/4…

it is ONE of my favourites from angelreich. And Now here's the poem:

Ravenyard

I
The pearly gates stand before me
Stretching, reaching toward the heavens
Into the warmth of the sun,
Away from the shivery night

II
It is silent here
For none stir
Only the wind sings a sweet song
As the trees dance along

III
The trees are the only indication of life
The rest is frozen by time
The sway their silvery arms
Their feet covered in a blanket of crystal snow
The bark is wrinkled, aged
Each line tells a story
Yet there is no one there to hear it

IV
The snow crystals glisten under the sun
A million of them
Like fallen stars
Oh can it be
There are none left to appreciate
All that is left behind

V
The looming stairs lead to a prominent castle
That once embraced Her Eminence
Dark shadows hover on the slabs of stone
The culture of a whole generation is imprinted in the walls
The laughter of the court still rings in the walls
Ghosts wind between the never-ending hallways

VI
The whole kingdom bows before the window
The skies stretch as far as the eye can see
They are dark, brooding
Mixing up the storm
A storm that hasn't arrived
Tension fills the air
VII
The silver city that is left must be treasured
Must be stored
Far beyond the reach of destruction
The melancholy buildings shall protect generations
The sun will light up the skies

VIII
Behind me
The looming gates screech
Cutting me of from this present world
Pressing me to enter
The Ravenyard

ENJOY =)
